If you are looking for a higher quality skirting board then you will be wanting to go with a hardwood skirting rather than mdf, for example oak skirting boards which are available in various skirting profiles just like when you buy skirting in other materials, so if you want an ogee oak skirting board you will also be able to get this, just as if you were looking for a torus oak skirting board.

I do not want to contaminate the grow beds with sprays as these fish need to be eaten so what is safe to spray with ?

Spray them off with a hose.

Aphids love nitrogen fertilizer, so dilute the fish water so there’s less nitrogen.

Because the tank is only ten gallons, that put most fish out of the question. I really don’t want koi, but I was wondering if there were smaller breeds of tilapia I could get, something I can eat.

its not worth it. Go for craw fish.If you eat them… They are fun to watch…
otherwise you are wasting your time. on edible, good, fish more than .002 ounces…

aquaponics how to
Product DescriptionA guide to understanding an Aquaponics System and how it will suit your needs and useful tips to create a successful system. The simplest aquaponic system requires only one tank that will act as both the grow bed and holding tank. Holding tanks contain the water and the fish, while the grow beds contain the soil-less media and the plants. The solar pond is the best example of a simple yet efficient backyard aquaponic system. A large barrel or plastic vessel is filled with de-chlorinated water and fish. The top part of the barrel is covered with a specially designed grow bed. Seedlings and seeds are transplanted into the grow bed. Slowly, the maturing root systems of the seedlings will reach the surface of the water. The fish, on the other hand, will continue to feed and excrete waste into the water. Beneficial bacteria will break down the feces and the excess fish feed in the water.
